Line & Cast Nets

A throw net is another name for a casting net, which is a fishing net. Small weights are strewn around the circumference of a circular net. In order for the net to stretch out in the air before it dips into the water, it is cast or tossed by hand. Net casting or net throwing is a term for this method of casting or throwing a net.
